I ethically harvest wild herbs in the mountains of Montana to create a unique and powerful experience. Wild herbs from high-altitudes are stronger and contain higher concentrations of active constituents due to the harsh climate. Herbs that I cannot forage wild in these mountains are ethically sourced from other areas of Montana or from northern New Mexico from indigenous wild-crafters and organic small farmers.
Mullein relaxes muscles and soothes aches and pains. This beneficial herb is well known for its use in treating spasmodic coughs, with extensive use in tuberculosis clinics since the early 19th century. However it is often overlooked for it's quiet soothing properties and lack of side-effects, drug interactions, or contra-indications. I give mullein tea to small children, adults, and invalids alike to ease restlessness and settle the body for restorative sleep. Rose petals sooth body and mind, and pine needles are rich in Vitamin C and Vitamin A, boosting mood and red blood cell production.*
Instructions: Put a heaping tablespoon in 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil and simmer briefly. Cover and allow to steep for 5 minutes. Strain and enjoy with honey. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery after drinking.
